Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist

About the role

Shape high-quality ASD and ADHD assessments with senior CAMHS psychiatry expertise at KPI:Access.

You’ll make a meaningful difference to children, young people and families seeking timely answers around ASD and ADHD, helping them move from uncertainty to clarity, confidence and practical next steps. Bringing senior psychiatric expertise into a multidisciplinary assessment pathway, you’ll support robust diagnostic formulation, identify co-occurring mental health or neurodevelopmental needs, and provide recommendations that can guide the support a child receives at home, in education and across their wider care network.

KPI:Access is a leading privately owned mental health provider, delivering specialist diagnostic assessments, outpatient psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy across the UK. Working both privately and in partnership with the NHS, the service brings together experienced clinicians to provide safe, evidence-based care focused on meaningful outcomes for patients and families.

KPI:Access is expanding its private neurodevelopmental services in response to growing demand for timely ASD and ADHD assessments. This contractor opportunity has arisen as we continue to invest in clinically robust, family-focused pathways that give children, young people and families faster access to clarity, diagnosis and practical next steps.

How you’ll support this service

  • Using your CAMHS psychiatry expertise to support ASD and ADHD assessments
  • Contributing senior psychiatric input to multidisciplinary diagnostic decisions
  • Reviewing clinical, developmental, educational and family information
  • Identifying co-occurring mental health or neurodevelopmental needs
  • Preparing clear, accurate and clinically robust reports
  • Communicating outcomes and recommendations sensitively to families
  • Working autonomously within agreed clinical governance and safeguarding standards
  • Supporting a growing, evidence-based and family-focused assessment pathway
