Community Paediatrician
About the role
Shape high-quality ASD and ADHD assessments with community paediatrics expertise at KPI:Access.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality private ASD and ADHD assessments for children and young people, helping families gain clarity, confidence and practical next steps. Bringing specialist community paediatrics expertise into a multidisciplinary pathway, you’ll help ensure developmental, medical, educational and family information is carefully considered to support robust diagnostic decision-making, clear recommendations and meaningful outcomes that can shape the support a child receives at home, in education and beyond.
KPI:Access is a leading privately owned mental health provider, delivering specialist diagnostic assessments, outpatient psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy across the UK. Working both privately and in partnership with the NHS, the service brings together experienced clinicians to provide safe, evidence-based care focused on meaningful outcomes for patients and families.
KPI:Access is expanding its private neurodevelopmental services in response to growing demand for timely ASD and ADHD assessments. This contractor opportunity has arisen as we continue to invest in clinically robust, family-focused pathways that give children, young people and families faster access to clarity, diagnosis and practical next steps.
How you’ll support this service
- Delivering thorough, child-centred neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people referred for possible ASD and/or ADHD
- Using your community paediatrics expertise to interpret developmental, medical, educational and family information and contribute confidently to multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions
- Preparing accurate, clinically robust reports with clear recommendations that families, schools and professionals can understand and use
- Communicating assessment outcomes sensitively, helping families feel informed, supported and confident about the next steps
- Working with professional autonomy while remaining aligned to agreed outputs, governance standards, NICE guidance and safeguarding responsibilities
- Collaborating effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team while maintaining independent clinical judgement
- Managing your time flexibly to meet pathway demand and agreed deliverables
